Aquatic Therapy

Aquatic Therapy is a therapeutic procedure which attempts to improve function through the application of aquatic therapeutic exercises. Advantages include: increased muscle strength, tone, cardiovascular, function, circulation, endurance, range of motion/flexibility, reduces stress, decreases swellling/edema, and improved balance and coordination. Aquatic Therapy is beneficial for back pain, orthopedic injuries/surgeries, balance issues, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, Fibromyalgia, and Multiple Sclerosis.

Our Aquatic Therapy is conducted at The Center in Council Bluffs, located at 714 S Main St. The pool is 60 feet x 40 feet, with an average temperature of 92 degrees offering a zero entry ramp with two handrails for easy entrance and exit.
